FHS Band & Choir Spring Break Adventures!

The Band lead off the Disney Soundsational Parade and the Choirs sang at the Hollywood Theatre in California Adventure.  Both groups had to audition and were selected for live performances.




Nevada Music Educators Association (NMEA) All-State Band and Choir

FHS had 9 students that auditioned and were selected to be one of the best in the state:

Madison Thorpe – Trumpet
 Briana Burch – Soprano 1
Chloe Cross – Soprano 2
Lillian Nattress – Alto 1
Maile Manzanares – Alto 2
Justin Bake – Tenor 2
Micah Gonzalez – Bass 1
Shawn Narwold – Bass 2
Seth Bake – Bass 2

Dayton Intermediate Theater Returns!

Dayton Intermediate School Theater is back in session! The students performed a few plays in late January via Facebook Live for all of their fans to see and enjoy.  The plays performed were "Once Upon a Zoom" by Edith Weiss and "The Boy Who Cried Werewolf" by Daniel Guyton. Even with all the obstacles and adjustments that needed to be made, the students did a fantastic job! Way to go DIS Theater!  The DIS Theatre class is led by National Board Certified Teacher Lindsay Etter!
