SVS Evacuation Site for Tamarack Fire

SVS is currently being used as an evacuation site for residents impacted by the Tamarack Fire. Over 100 people and their pets are being housed on campus. As additional evacuations are expected, various entities are providing for the needs of the evacuees including food, water, sleeping accommodations, etc. 


Thank you to our staff at Smith Valley School for being so accommodating and to our brave firefighters and emergency personnel.  Please keep those impacted by this fire in your thoughts - we certainly are!

Dayton Intermediate School Theater is back in session! The students performed a few plays in late January via Facebook Live for all of their fans to see and enjoy.  The plays performed were "Once Upon a Zoom" by Edith Weiss and "The Boy Who Cried Werewolf" by Daniel Guyton. Even with all the obstacles and adjustments that needed to be made, the students did a fantastic job! Way to go DIS Theater!  The DIS Theatre class is led by National Board Certified Teacher Lindsay Etter!
