FHS Students Receive Welding Certifications



Fernley High School student attend a Welding Qualification Seminar at Reed High School over the Nevada Day weekend.  All earned their welding certifications in the following areas.


Brandon Dickson - 1”plate, Vertical-up
Dustin Derley - 3/8” plate, Flat
CJ McDonnell - 3/8” plate, Flat
Bailey Torres - 3/8”plate, Vertical-up
Travis Bolt - 3/8”plate, Vertical-up

Dayton Intermediate Theater Returns!

Dayton Intermediate School Theater is back in session! The students performed a few plays in late January via Facebook Live for all of their fans to see and enjoy.  The plays performed were "Once Upon a Zoom" by Edith Weiss and "The Boy Who Cried Werewolf" by Daniel Guyton. Even with all the obstacles and adjustments that needed to be made, the students did a fantastic job! Way to go DIS Theater!  The DIS Theatre class is led by National Board Certified Teacher Lindsay Etter!
