The branch actively supports various area activities that enhance the well being of the active and veteran enlisted members of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard both nationally and within its service area.

A few of the recent Branch activities include providing financial support to Nevada Honor Flight, Suicide Prevention and each year sponsoring the Annual Americanism Essay Contest in area schools.

Recently the branch has established a working relationship with the Marine Corps Community Services at the Mountain Warfare Training Center at Pickle Meadows, Calif. As such, the Branch provides support for events and programs at the Center throughout the year.

The Branch was incorporated in 2014 as a Nevada non-profit corporation.
