YHS Students Make a Difference with Their Blood Donation! ♥

Yerington High School's NHS (National Honor Society) and HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) hosted a blood drive on September 27th.  Overall, they had 46 individuals step up to donate and were able to have 35 successful donations, which collected 49 units of blood. This blood will be used to save up to 147  lives!

So far, it has been used to help the following individuals:

18 year old female - Cancer
12 year old male - Cancer
Newborn female - Heart Condition
Newborn male - Neonatal Transfusion
57 year old male - Trauma
22 year old male - Blood Disorder
