Dayton High School Student Receives Art Scholarship

On Tuesday, April 24, the Carson City Arts and Culture Coalition awarded Hannah Gray from Dayton High School with a $500 scholarship during the Capital City Arts Initiative's opening for local high school art students at the Bric in Carson City.

Dayton Intermediate Theater Returns!

Dayton Intermediate School Theater is back in session! The students performed a few plays in late January via Facebook Live for all of their fans to see and enjoy.  The plays performed were "Once Upon a Zoom" by Edith Weiss and "The Boy Who Cried Werewolf" by Daniel Guyton. Even with all the obstacles and adjustments that needed to be made, the students did a fantastic job! Way to go DIS Theater!  The DIS Theatre class is led by National Board Certified Teacher Lindsay Etter!
