Nevada Thespian Outstanding Administrator of the Year for 2018 -2019

Over the weekend, Assistant Principal Brooke Keller at Fernley High School was named the Nevada Thespian Outstanding Administrator of the Year for 2018 -2019 school year.  She was nominated by FHS students. FHS staff is happy she was recognized for all of her hard work and dedication to Fernley High School’s staff and students. Keller has been a member of the Fernley community since 1983 when they moved here to raise their child in a small community. Keller has been a member of the Lyon County School District family since 1991 when she started as a classroom aide. Her three children graduated from Fernley High School and she has held the utmost respect for the teachers and the school.  She has been at Fernley High School for over five years.  Keller says, "I love coming to work every day. I get to work with students and their families in the most exciting time of their lives.  We watch our students walk in our doors as timid freshmen and walk out in four years as confident, prepared young adults ready to take on the world.  I couldn't ask for a better job. I am honored to be a part of this school and to work with your children."
