Rotary is making a difference, how about you?


Last night 5 YHS students presented speeches for the Yerington Rotary Club. The topic was Rotary is making a difference, how about you? Students pictured in order from left to right are Darwin Snyder, Kiaya Villines, Tessa Roberton, Claire Coutts, and Alexus Bodenstein. Darwin Snyder won the Rotary Speech Contest and will be competing in the area contest tonight in Fernley! Alexus Bodenstein got 2nd place, and Claire Coutts got 3rd place!

Dayton Intermediate School Theater is back in session! The students performed a few plays in late January via Facebook Live for all of their fans to see and enjoy.  The plays performed were "Once Upon a Zoom" by Edith Weiss and "The Boy Who Cried Werewolf" by Daniel Guyton. Even with all the obstacles and adjustments that needed to be made, the students did a fantastic job! Way to go DIS Theater!  The DIS Theatre class is led by National Board Certified Teacher Lindsay Etter!
